PHYSIOLOGICAL REACTION II

Physiological Reaction II is an update of the 2016 version. It uses real-time data from natural wind to drive the movement of the fans, which is displayed at the same time with the algorithm of the machine. The three identical fan arrays are given individual characteristics under the combined influence of computer algorithms and data of wind. The visualization of wind is rewritten in the computer algorithm. The visual pattern is constantly changing and bursts out of the vitality of the machine. The sound roars and buzzes at intervals as if it is eagerly seeking attention. The vitality of the wind responds to changing data flow and real-time natural wind speed transmission, keeping growing, reproducing, and serializing breathing in the “shape” of the fan array. While the production of force is constantly changing, the "entity" of the machine and the "form" of the natural forces are playing and interacting with each other. Mechanized devices can be viewed as power independent of human beings.
